Hollywood

One of my best friends got married in California this weekend, so John and I took a quick vacation down there for the big event.  One afternoon we visited the ever-so-classy Hollywood.  Had some fun taking street pics, getting offered rides in leopard painted limos, seeing failed actors/actresses dress up as popular movie characters, and looking into windows of shops too expensive to even walk into.  At least we got some quality time together.

I'm really lovin that last one of the globe lantern...not super hollywood, but a great pic nonetheless.
I don't know about you, but Hollywood was kinda disappointing the first time I went. In fact, the other day I was sitting in traffic and spotted the ubiquitous sign and thought, "Why do we all think that's so special anyway?" Oh, if only it were the 50s, eh?

Thanks you guys. Lindsey, I totally agree about Hollywood. I think it is a hole. This globe lantern was actually on the backside of the chinese theatre. It looked so old fashioned, I loved it! Not really much of a desire to go back to Hollywood though...
