Mr. M

I got to do something a little different this weekend. Mr. M here needed updated pictures for his modeling portfolio. It's been a couple of years since his last session (here.) Highlights of the session included changing outfits in the freezing cold, a minor fender bender in the parking lot, and waiting for the Jazzercise class to get out of the gym. Good times...

The L Family

Another cute family I have the honor of photographing each year. Seriously, I don't think she can take a bad picture. Love this family!

My Boys

Well, another year has passed. My kids are a year older (almost) and it's time for portraits. Usually this is my least favorite session of the year, but they finally have learned to behave, most of the time at least. Bribing with a forbidden slurpee didn't hurt either. They actually seemed kind of into it this year, and we were able to do THREE locations. I know, pretty incredible. I had so many favorites, I had to arrange a few collections to share.

I remember the days when my boys weren't allowed any toy weapons, and my husband objected to them getting a Buzz Lightyear laser gun at Disneyland. Man, those times have changed. We have a large chest of toy weapons, which the boys play endlessly with. I thought they'd like some pictures of them playing with them, so I arranged this collage that I will hang in their room. Here's hoping they won't grow up to be violent people. :{

Until next year....

James

I've always said I prefer to behind the camera, instead of in front of it, so I have to give huge kudos to James here. He needed some individual shots, but doesn't think he is photogenic (haha) but was willing to give it a whirl anyway. Most.Laid.Back.Client.Ever. In fact his catch phrase was "Sure, I can do that." It was a pleasure to create these images. Good luck James!
