Phoebe-1 Year Old

It's been 9 months since I've seen this little angel.  Remember her blessing pictures?  I'll tell you, it takes a special kind of clownish photographer to photograph a 1 year old.  I still have a lot of practice to do.  For the first 3 minutes, we got smiles and she stayed on the chair. After the novelty wore off, she became a typical one year old.  I'm glad we were able to capture all the many moods of Ms. Phoebe.  And I'm glad I got my exercise in for the day. :)

We all get wedding portraits, and family portraits, but how many of you get couple and individual portraits?  This cute couple decided it was time after 16 years of marriage.  I'm so glad they did!

My boys

My boys are growing up.  Nooooooooooooooo!  Ethan (the oldest) is almost as tall as me, an they are both too smart for their own good.  I seriously don't know where time goes.  I look back at them six years ago (the bottom of the picture below) and remember our grand times spending all day together, and enjoying simpler things.  Dragon Tales has been traded for Futurama, and preschool crafts have been traded for book reports.  I really love this stage they are in now, they are incredibly fun, but I do miss my babies. 

LIttle Sister

It was so good to see this beautiful mama again and her newest babe.  I photographed her first born in 2006.  How sweet is her little face?  I loved her eyes and hair the best.  She wasn't too keen on smiling that day, but did enjoy watching her mom and aunt dance to some energetic music to try to get her to smile.  My only regret is not getting to hold her longer. *sigh* 

Jack's 6 month portraits

Here is a little sneak peek of my darling nephew's six month portraits.  I love this kid, I mean look at him, how can you not?  And is that the cutest, squishiest baby bottom you've ever seen?  Yes. Yes it is.

Baby Bird

This little girl is my Fiona.  She is my brother-in-law and Jessica's baby bird, and I love her to death.  She was not so thrilled to be photographed after a long day at the Pride Parade and swimming, but I still got some cute snaps in-between feeding, cuddling, and calming down.

My dear sister has finally moved here, and it has been so great to finally be able to be an auntie to her kids, and to meet my new darling niece.  She's so petite, so patient, and so sweet.

6 months old!

I seriously love getting to see babies grow up.  The first image is from December, when this little beauty was born.  Here she is on her 6 month birthday, and I can't believe how cute she is!  Grandma did an exceptional job getting her to smile just by singing the first few notes of her favorite song.  This little girl is surrounded by people her love her, and it shows.

Oh my goodness. As if this little baby wasn't cute enough, put her in a handmade, croqueted-by-her-grandma blessing gown and she is irresistible.
