Snickerdoodles and Scones

I'm no Martha Stewart, but every once and a while I get the urge to bake up a yummy treat.  These snickerdoodles are a family favorite.  The first time I made these I was convinced I did something wrong, since they did not spread out flat like the ones I grew up with.  They are chewy, soft, and subtly sweet.  You can get the recipe from the Lion House Desserts Cookbook.

The scones are a new recipe I tried from this amazing website.  They went great with my morning cup of coffee.  Strawberries and orange flavored yogurt make these baked scones moist and delicious!
