My husband came home the other day with a beautiful bouquet of flowers "just because". He's such a sweet guy! As he handed them to me he said, "I got them at your favorite place" and winked. You see, for the Hatch couple, flowers have been a touchy subject. John LOVES to get me flowers, but being the frugal person I am, I have a hard time with how much money he has spent on them. In a bizarre way it almost ruins the gift. (I know, I am crazy.) So after some hurt feelings and discussion, he now makes all his flower purchases at Costco.
Beauty + Value + Thoughtfulness = one happy wife. Thanks babe!

Now, the better thing to do is to steal them from your neighbor's yard. The worst thing to do is to steal them from public land, especially if they're an endemic, native, or endangered species (Enter Cecily with a "Mother Nature" badge).
You're right, Lou. If everyone picked just one wildflower there would be no more left for everyone to enjoy. ;)

I love Costco flowers! I used one of their bouquets for my Bridals that you did. I liked it even better than my REAL bouquet! :)

I know exactly how you feel...I love flowers but I hate the thought of spending all that money.
