Ruth

    What a perfect session to start out the new year.  I woke up feeling miserable, 

but the adrenaline of photographing lovely people kept me going.  

This is my dear, dear friend and her parents.  Ruth has endured the cruel and relentless battle of cancer with a radiant smile on her face.  She is such an amazing example of positive energy, love, and acceptance.  

Her competitive side came out while playing this game.... 

Ruth is making a quilt for one of her granddaughters.  

She hopes to be able to make one for all her grandkids. 

Becky rubs her mother's aching hands daily.  

Seriously.  Could they be any cuter? 

Married almost 40 years.  Such a beautiful couple.

Elle

I'm seriously the luckiest photographer in the world to get to photograph Elle.  She's sweet, super sassy, gives me cute little gifts, is fun to read stories to, has the BEST wardrobe of any person I know, and loves animals with a heart the size of Texas.  Her mom is an expert designer and event planner, so let me know if you need her info.  In the mean time, enjoy this little sweetheart.

Benito and his baby sister

It was love at first sight.  When this little guy woke up from his nap, and I played peek-a-boo with him from his bedroom door, we connected.  He was so darn cute, I could have eaten him up.  

AND he happens to have a newborn baby sister that is just as adorable. 

 (look at this nursery!  Magazine worthy for sure.)

 And now, for the two people who created these adorable children....

Katie's Boys

Katie has more patience and grace than I could ever hope for.  I've been lucky enough to get to photograph each of her boys when they were born.  This latest addition was a pure sweetheart, and will fit right in with the rest of the clan.  

 and let's not forget KJ.  He's an awesome dad, who has so much fun with his four boys.  Thanks again for letting me document this stage in your life.  You guys are great parents!  Good luck :)

Evie

This is the darling girl of one of my favorite couples.  I had the privilege of photographing their engagement and wedding pictures, and now their little baby. I got to use my awesome baby calming skills to soothe her and snap a few pics.  I love this lifestyle-style of photographing a newborn.  Seems more natural and sweet.

Boy, Boy, GIRL!

When I photographed this family in the fall of 2010, I couldn't believe how cute the little boys were.  When I heard they just had a little baby girl, I was so excited to see how cute she was, and she didn't disappoint.  I loved photographing these three unbelievable adorable children. :)

Thank you for inviting me to photograph you in your home! I love the comfortable feel it gave the session. Katie, you are SO beautiful and the epitome of the mom-to-be glow.
